I think the matter of Luis Posada Carriles (#147) is the worst of the scandals simply because he is the poster boy of the real war on terror - as Hugh puts it, "Apparently it is not what you bomb but who you bomb that counts."

In other words, there are good terrorists and bad terrorists. The good terrorists work for the Bushes.

Surely out of these 256 reasons for impeachment of Bush and Cheney and everyone else who remains in this administration, some seem to be jumping ship, there are at least a couple that Madame Speaker might find solid enough to pursue?

Reading this I was reminded of an editorial cartoon during the Reagan administration which summed that and this administration up quite well, particularly with regard to the Bushes. It was simply a drawing of the White House with one light on downstairs and the caption "Will the last one indicted turn the lights out?"

# 238, Senator Larry Craig (R-ID), didn't have much to do with bush. Craig just portioned out his own rope and ended up giving Idaho to the Democrats in the next election.

the over-reaction of the pugs to Craig's problems was stimulated by his being on the hit list. Specter knows that, told him, and that's why he reversed his stance on resigning. While there has been nothing to indicate it, I would not be surprised to learn that somehow the timing of that sting operation was influenced by bushco operatives. If not, they certainly were opportunistic. So while it seems not to be related to bush, it very well could be, and could turn into a bush-specific scandal. Have to at least give it an asterisk for "wait and see."

I also somehow doubt, though, that these 256 represent all the felonies performed by the Bushies.

The Bushies are Capitalist Troskyists at heart who's philosophy of Perpetual Revolution demands than we all be flooded with scandals, afronts, and atrocities to the point where they are a whirling blur that we can't defend against them all.

Thus, I suspect the number is far higher than 256, but this list is a fantastic resoucre nonethelss!

a lot of other stuff too that hopefully will be in there soon. Not sure if he's keeping some stuff such as the Margie Schoedinger situation intentionally out that are more just rumors (even if the lack of attention to those rumors reflects irresponsibility and perhaps complicity with the media).

Nevertheless, I'm very thankful for this sort of "index" on all of the wrongdoing this administration is doing. I was looking just for such a thing from folks I've been talking to that are "waking up" and are looking for direction on getting such info. It looks very well done. Hope that over time it can be refined/organized so that it isn't as intimidating as it might be to some folks that haven't delved into a lot of this stuff already and are looking at most or all of it for the first time. I have a tolerance for that huge volume of info. Others might not. It's those others that we need to educate with links like these!

Glad to see an updated comprehensive document. It's really frightening to realize how pervasive the corruption, how much it has kept compounding, and scariest of all-- just how much there is to lose sight of just due to the sheer volume of it.
