Whatever happened to the search for ...
that pilot man-..oh, my brain is MIA! ..his name I can't think of... He was a record breaker and a good friend of Sir Richard Branson..they were searching for him around the time of the missing Nukes in the B 52 transporter story. I think it is curious not to hear a word at all, unless I just missed it.

1. If someone is missing, government entities don't HAVE to search for them

6. Amelia Erhardt?
They never found her.

They didn't find Steve Fosset either.

7. Steve Fossett
The search keeps getting called off, back on, called off, etc. I really still hope that he's in good enough shape (and is knowledgeable enough about survival tips) to be alive out there somewhere.

12. Good point, Karl.
Man, you oughta be with NTSB.

That is the smartest, most valid theory I have heard to date.

13. I have worked with the NTSB on a few crashes, actually
when I had some particular knowledge of the circumstances. It never was something I wanted to do on a regular basis though...
