Now they are debating whether to make a law dictating what colors you can paint your house!

Wanna know why?

Because Mexicans paint their houses funny colors!!!

2. It's not up to the city to decide; the city council is gravely overreaching.
The only conceivable authority that could weigh in on what color to paint your house is your local homeowners' association, and even then, there will be a lengthy court battle in all likelihood. That aside, passing a law against law-abiding citizens who own and paint their homes is discriminatory, especially if its intent is to target a minority group.

If they were so desperate to get a grip on the illegal immigration problem, they'd pass ordinances punishing local employers for willingly hiring these people outside the confines of the law.

Bill O and John "Beaver Teeth" Gibson said it was happening, the demise of the white male power structure right there in Farmers Branch Oh My!!

Too many "others" since 1970

And I don't even understand this:

"Census 2000 counted ethnicity in two categories: Hispanic and Non-Hispanic. In Farmers Branch people of Hispanic ethnicity are 37% of the total population. Hispanic ethnicity includes people of all races."

8. Not all Hispanics are brown
In Puerto Rico, some people are white, some people are black; in the rest of the United States, all Puerto Ricans are Hispanic. I had a good friend in college who was Mexican; even though he had some distinctively Mayan features, he also had blond hair and blue eyes.

Hatred of Hispanics is racist in character, but the actual definition of Hispanic is geographic and includes many populations that are racially diverse. This just underscores the arbitrariness of racial and ethnic categories in the first place.

10. I live in Cherokee County, Georgia, where is is also
illegal to rent to undocumented aliens. But so far, I haven't noticed that it is enforced. I live in a mobile home park and there are many Hispanics and most of them are illegals.
