House Republicans are giving Dems plenty of ammo to use against them in 08
I'm sure this debate is being watched and taped. The things they are saying is just astonishing. How dumb do they think the American people are? Heck don't even bother to answer that I already know.

Well, if one define's America's interests as Republican interests, they'd be correct. The biggest casualty of this debacle is going to be the complete repudiation of the Republican worldview. That's what they fear. Bring the troops home and this war....goes away.

2. The consequences of having invaded Iraq are too serious to contemplate for Americans.
But Americans must contemplate them, nevertheless. Better contemplate them now, and withdraw the troops now, than to keep bogged down and have more U.S. troops killed.
