5. What an abomination to kill such a magnificent animal
just to hang it on a dock for entertainment value. This kind of thing happens way too often.

In over 100 open ocean dives, I dove with sharks more than 50% of the time. Everything from black tips and reef sharks to lemon sharks and some others not so close and identifiable. Pelagics are fascinating.

In all those dives, I never felt the slightest antipathy and animosity ... to the level I've encountered in MANY human endeavors. At the same time, I didn't try to climb into the food chain with the presumption I had a 'reserved' space at the top.

6. i live on the beach in sw fla..i am damn glad they got that thing out of the water!!
i wll have nightmares tonight!!

saw a shark land itself on my beach last year..about 6 foot..and it literally landed itself on the beach and couldn't get back in the water..

i was not inclined to push it back in!!

one fisherman!!

10's of thousands of fish, porpoise , manatee,grouper, all sorts of fish ..and shark were floating in our water dead last year..one needed a mask to protect ourselves from the stink and cough from the dead fish ...and it went on for 9 months!

oh and bushy was going to remove manatee from the endanger list if it hadn't been for many of us dems fighting to keep them on it!!

ask our government what they did to cause it!!
