Seeger is one of our teachers. I remember that during a DC rally attempting to stop the invasion of Iraq (or thereabout - hazy recall of watching something on C-span) he used his time on the platform and weakened voice to lead people in singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Not, at first glance, the strongest statement against the imperialistic warmongers that might have been made, but on second look, maybe it was.
