My LTTE on Bush's speech yesterday in NW Arkansas.

Dear Editor,

What a treat for NW Arkansas to see 'live' the New Comic of the Year: George W. Bush! A man who has single-handedly added more to the national debt than all of the preceding 42 Presidents combined; who plans to have taxpayers foot over $200 billion a year for the next 50 years for his 'endless wars'; a man who didn't blink an eye on 12 pork-laden spending bills while the GOP was in the majority, to stand up and deliver a talk about 'fiscal responsibility'! It was the funniest shtick I've seen in years!

Add in his fake Texas drawl, bumbling delivery, and a handful of cliches, and I was literally rolling on the floor, laughing! He's much better than Foster Brooks ever was!

no doubt all the republican trash in Rogers enjoyed his visit and smiled real pretty. I guess he didn't have time to swing by the UA Student Union and give a repeat performance (where handpicked audiences don't exist.)
