republicansexoffenders.com gets a small facelift
I received an email this morning with a nice little gift in it. Someone made this graphic and emailed it to me after looking up my info on whois.

Here's the text of the letter (with email addys deleted):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From: John T <xxxxx@yahoo.com> Save Address

To: xxxxxx@bellsouth.net
Subject: Republican Sex Offenders
Date: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 2:27:42 AM

"Hi, I got your email address out of the WHOIS database, I hope this message gets to the right person.

As a gay man, I'm deeply offended by Republican moral hypocrites who exploit
bigotry to diminish my rights and dignity. I applaud your efforts to keep track
of the never-ending stream of scandals coming from the "party of values".

As a graphic designer, my eyes are slightly offended by the amateurish design of
your web site. I was kind of bored tonight so I presumptuously designed a new
title banner for you (attached), "pro bono". Please use it if you like it. I
could also give you a couple of suggestions that would make the page look a
little more polished and easier to read.

john
"

And here is the graphic! I LOVE it!

So to "John", I say thank you again, sir. I replied to the email, but wanted to say so in public also

1. Oh. man, that is just too cool.
Isn't it great how things can literally fall out of the sky like that?

11. John does great work, huh?
That was a great idea that took a great imagination. I would have NEVER thought of finding a picture like that myself.

6. I'm just impressed that you created this website.

I mean, someone needed to do it. That is a great graphic, too. Good for you!

On edit: I just visited your website and it is fantastic. I don't know how you do it. It's puke-inducing, but full of information that is good to know. No wonder I never let my daughter alone with anyone the whole time I lived in Utah. I had heard too many horror stories from co-workers whose children were molested by seemingly good, upstanding Mormon relatives. Too many of my friends were either victims of incest, or victims of rape by Republican males. I mean, I met woman after woman who didn't get to age 13 without being raped. I also worked with a teen runaway organization, and the fuckers who take advantage of them are, you guessed it, Republican politicians or upstanding church-going conservative males. They prey on these homeless teens and go back to their sham fasod of a life. It made me sick. They truly need help. As a child, I remember being repulsed by the Republicans who would work downtown, and it was probably for good reason. A friend of mine was raped in a well-known Mormon shopping mall when she was only 9 by one of these clean-cut businessmen. I don't think I had but a handful of friends who came through their childhoods unmolested, and they were all liberal Catholics.

15. I can't take credit for *creating* the site. Most of it was copied, with permission
from the original creator, but I have been adding to it and trying to keep it current. I believe armchairsubversive.com originally started this, I just happened to get the good domain name to bring it more to light. Larry Flynt has some of it on his site too. I've just been pushing and promoting the hell out of my site, and it has been picked up by several other blogs/sites and linked to.

I think it's important to keep the spotlight on these hypocrites and it has become a passion of mine.

20. I like your format. All the criminal stuff in one place and all the ethically challenged
stuff running down the side.

It has a lot more impact that way.

21. A great idea for a website..
A small suggestion, if you don't mind: I think it would have greater impact if you grouped them in some hierarchy so that the high level officials (the Congress members for example).

Also, where's Jeff Gannon?
