Yes - I'm putting veto threats out! On the S-CHIP bill, I have made it abuntantly clear why I vetoed that bill...I want the extra 500,000 to be covered....doesn't sound like it's a program for poor children to me...

Having said that I"m not gonna accept a lousy bill. Al queda and terrorism is still a threat...plottin and plannin...Merican people want us to have the tools to fight em...

SCHIP reasons why Bush vetoed:

1) 1/2 million chidren not covered
2) Some states spending more money on adults than children
3) To increase eligibility up to 83000 is an attempt to expand the government reach of medicine...I don't like like plans that encourage people to move private plans to the public.
