DLC/establishment candidate and currently member of the 11% Senate Hillary Clinton at 45% while John Edwards is at 9% and only 12% unsure.

3. here is a partial explanation
Markus Prior explains how greater media access in the United States has actually reduced the number of Americans who are politicaly informed: "The most significant effect of more media choice is not the wider dissemination of political news but mounting inequality in political involvement. Some people follow news more closely than in the past, but many others avoid it altogether."

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/editorialist/2007/07/todays_columns_hillarys_real_i.html

They hear "Clinton' Health Care plan" they do not hear it is an Insurance company's DREAM. They hear "Liberal Hillary" and assume it is true when she is really the most conservative candidate. They hear "Hillary is for Iraq troop withdrawal" they do not learn about the tens of thousands of troops she plans to keep there forever for "support" (protecting oil!).

It is pretty simple, Clinton is the corporate controlled M$M choice for our candidate and they are doing their best to get her there by controlling the message.
