Interesting article on the state of air traffic control
After all of the hype and outright lies released by the FAA this past 2 years, it's refreshing to see an article that illustrates what we air traffic controllers are actually dealing with.

I've been flying around SE Michigan for a while, and around Upstate NY before that. Your voices on the other side of my radio have always been a real comfort.

4. Excellent piece. Looks like the ATCers are being beaten up just like the airline workers.
Jenny Tudor: "She'd rather drive — even all the way to a show in Texas." That's me! I've flown only once since my medical retirement 9/10/2001, and that was to get back to Dallas to see a specialist. I have driven from NC/SC to Dallas at least 15 times (2000 mile round trip) during that time period.

My hat's off to ATC. Rank-and-file controllers are on the front line of Bu$hco's war on the American worker.

5. The problem is that ALL of us feel the effects of this.
It would be bad enough if this was just an ATC issue. It would be bad enough if it was just a labor issue.

These morons are eroding our safeguards. That's bad for all of us.
