Al Gore was at his first public speech tonight...
since winning the Nobel Prize. He was amongst friends, and you know the question on EVERYBODY'S mind was whether or not he will run for President. However, the questions were pre-screened, and guess what? The most important question was never asked. Now wouldn't he want to make it perfectly clear to his most loyal fans what his CLEAR intentions are if he weren't going to run? But the question never came up...Hmmm...Who else is thinking what I'm thinking...

2. Then he should say that there's no way he's running..
...that we should all turn our attention to the Primaries and the candidates we already have.

3. why would he do that and lose all the extra attention to his issues
He would be a fool to say "I am not running."

7. Hmm... Perhaps that attention is one more good reason he SHOULD be running for president...
If the argument is that he can do more by being outside the presidency, and on the other hand, he doesn't want to dismiss the possibility of running because that continues to give him more attention. It would seem to me that if he truly feels that he doesn't need to run for president to get his goals accomplished, he shouldn't be concerned about not having the attention for running for president if he is that powerful outside this office. And the sooner he is honest about not wanting to run for office and therefore being "Shermanesque" about it, the sooner people will get back to trusting that as his true motivation, etc.

4. I doubt he'll make a Sherman statement.
And we should keep our attention on the primaries and the candidates we already have ANYWAY, this isn't fantasyland, while people are waiting breathlessly for the messiah, actual stuff is happening in the actual world.

5. But it might also cause the media to pay less attention to him ...
... and the media bonus is useful in communicating re: his current projects. (Also, I wonder if he isn't keeping the question open just as punishment, for the screwing he took from the media in 2000.)

6. Sorry, that's not the most important question
And frankly, I think he's tired of yours. The Arctic melted a little more today while others were preoccupied in their reveries. I suspect he then already knows the most important question.

8. so since you know what he's thinking and know he's going to run
when is he going to jump into the race? When is he going to get the signitures he needs to get on certain ballots? I know you can tell me because you are so certain of what he is thinking and going to do. Thank you.
