How many of you think Dear Albert
is actually running a campaign of stealth?

"No plans", doesn't really cut him out of the picture.

He hasn't told Draft.Gore.com to go home, he isn't trying to get those folks in Ca. to take him off the ballot they've put him on. And I suspect more will follow, his name on the ballot, that is. Also, three videos have been released on his own channel that have nothing to do with the Environment, which is very curious indeed. OR, it might also be that he might be trying to lead a kind of shadow government, because he knows he has a lot of power right now- the kind that fuels the fire of the grassroots organizations with the sky as the limit. He can lead us, we will follow, it's not anywhere near over. "It's just the beginning".

6. Sorry, but I don't
I think he's quite content not running for president and devoting his life to Global Warming/environment.

8. He's left the door open
for whatever reason he may have. I'll support whichever road he chooses, tho I believe his recent position pieces on Current TV are indicative that my hope isn't dead in the water just yet.

10. Then it's a really stupid strategy
it doesn't allow him to raise any money or start to build any organizations in the states.

And it certainly opens up to the charge of being wishy-washy, non-committal and otherwise weak.

11. Gore run
Hi Fitzmas,

Who knows what may be in the cards? It's
hard for counterparts to run frivolous attack campaigns
against people who are not "officially" in the race.

13. November 2nd - 15 short days from now - the filing DEADLINE for the New Hampshire primary -
Edited on Thu Oct-18-07 05:51 PM by smalll
I don't think he's running. Others may still "believe." But please people, can you at least admit that if Al doesn't declare and file by November 2nd, he won't be running?

This is also why I think his most recent (yesterday) iteration of the "I have no plans" statement means a lot more now - when he said that in the early months of this year, sure, the door was still left open. But if he says that now, not much more than TWO WEEKS away from the New Hampshire filing deadline, I think the door is closed: he'd be LYING if it wasn't! How could he say he has no plans if he has to jump in over the next two weeks? If he runs, he has plans, and he has them now!
