Republicans = Crying Babies
Alright,

For now on, I think we need to start a trend -- every time shrill republicans throw temper tantrums, the following needs to happen -- the blogosphere all link to:

baby crying -- sound effect -- http://static1.grsites.com/archive/sounds/people/people137.wav

We need to start a trend of wimpifying these 'crying baby' republicans -- they can't stand the heat, they need to get out of the kitchen.

I think a strong, solid response like this will shut them up faster than anything -- the one thing that republicans cannot jeopardize is their 'tough guy' image.

1. Well, a lot of them are too chicken to support the troops IN IRAQ.

2. Agreed -- Theme song for ya
Here's a theme song for your Chickenhawk Convention

Draft Dodger Rag
Phil Ochs

Oh, I'm just a typical American boy from a typical American town
I believe in God and Senator Dodd and a-keepin' old Castro down
And when it came my time to serve I knew "better dead than red"
But when I got to my old draft board, buddy, this is what I said:

CHORUS
Sarge, I'm only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat, and my asthma's getting worse
Yes, think of my career, my sweetheart dear, and my poor old invalid aunt
Besides, I ain't no fool, I'm a-goin' to school
And I'm working in a DEE-fense plant

I've got a dislocated disc and a wracked up back
I'm allergic to flowers and bugs
And when the bombshell hits, I get epileptic fits
And I'm addicted to a thousand drugs
I got the weakness woes, I can't touch my toes
I can hardly reach my knees
And if the enemy came close to me
I'd probably start to sneeze

I'm only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat, and my asthma's getting worse
Yes, think of my career, my sweetheart dear, and my poor old invalid aunt
Besides, I ain't no fool, I'm a-goin' to school
And I'm working in a DEE-fense plant

Ooh, I hate Chou En Lai, and I hope he dies,
Onething you gotta see
That someone's gotta go over there
And that someone isn't me
So I wish you well, Sarge, give 'em Hell!
Kill me a thousand or so
And if you ever get a war without blood and gore
I'll be the first to go

Yes, I'm only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat, and my asthma's getting worse
Yes, think of my career, my sweetheart dear, and my poor old invalid aunt
Besides, I ain't no fool, I'm a-goin' to school
And I'm working in a DEE-fense plant

Think of the video you could do for this:

Tom Delay
Rush Limbaugh
Dick Cheney
George W

And on and on and on --

Add the young conservative 101st fighting keyboarders and enjoy.

5. I've been known to break out into that one
whenever I hear any male under 40 being a GOP bot, something that is happening less and less. Good thing, because I sing like a hinge.

I wish Ochs hadn't topped himself. Think of what he'd be writing now!

3. They certainly know how to whine. Seems like just the other day ...
they were crowing about being in power forever.

There are times when I feel like I've been to a "Whine Fest" when I listen to RW radio of TV talk shows. I can't stomach them for long periods, but I do go there occasionally to listen to the latest talking points. Lately, all of those talking points have been issued with a box of Kleenex so as to dry the tears of being in the minority.

After years of keeping D's out of meetings, demanding that "Blue States" be investigated, suddenly, it is a full throttle water works for the GOP. With the investigations ongoing, the scandals, (most endearing to me are the 'sex scandals' the R's keep getting caught in...:evilgin: ), and constant shrill call for "bi-partisanship", (something they had no notion of before they lost both houses)...I can rest in the knowledge that they are being broken down, piece by piece, card by card.

Hell....Larry Craig alone is worth his weight in gold for amusement purposes. Now there is one remarkably stupid man. At least once a week, he brings up his own embarrassment for the joy of the people who have to work with him, and especially for those of us who just like to see a good trainwreck...:D

Amazing resemblance.

7. I thought it was Bill O'Reilly
I can see where the two could be easily confused. Although borly would have a loofa in his hand.
