Israel's parliamentary web site "hacked"

The official web site of Israel's Knesset was altered by internet hackers on the weekend, with profiles of several legislators given new text.

The words "soon to be jailed" and "fraud" were added to the profiles of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former finance minister Avraham Hirchson.

It was only when some Knesset members discovered the changes over the weekend that the web site was taken down.

Olmert, who was questioned twice by police a week ago, is facing three investigations over fraud, corruption and bribery.

1. Sharon, as well, had a history of shady dealings which attracted the police.

The Russian influence on the political character of Israel is fascinating to me.

If anyone can recommend a book specifically on this topic, I'd like to know about it.

2. If you want to read a good book just about Russia

I can recommend "Darkness at Dawn" by David Satter. It's a really good one.
