Just Called Both Pelosi & Stark
I told the Pelosi staffer I was ashamed of Nancy and wondered when she was going to stop throwing the dems to the wolves. Her staffer was shocked.

Pete Stark's staffer was laughing and said she had been getting calls of support all morning.

i called pelosi's office and i told the woman who picked up that i was ashamed, ashamed of what she was doing to peter stark. i am sorry to call myself a democrat today. i wanted to know when she became a lapdog of the president. she hung up.

EDIT: I called the DC number, the woman who picked up said "good afternoon, office of the speaker"

36. Pelosi and Hoyer did to Stark what they SHOULD have done to the Frosh "Gang of Four"
That's the job of the House Leadership; to keep the unschooled and unruly in line.

Stark got beat up with the "Take one for the Party" Bat, and did what the leadership told him to do, with a great deal of sarcasm, I might add.

But they were wrong and they didn't do their job right.

for sure. Now if you're censured you don't get kicked out of Congress but they can take away his committee assignments.

But it still would have been better for the country if he'd made a statement saying he was right and accepting the censure.

the woman who picked up thanked me very much for my message which was that there are people out there who are outraged with the speaker. and that i wanted to express my solidarity with the representative. she said she would make sure that he got the message. at least he knows there are some out there who know that he is the kind of representative we need.

Why aren't you calling him?

This had the stench of Steny all over it.
But Steny is good at getting the shitstorm pointed at Pelosi.
