Fox News: Al Qaeda is causing the CA wildires.This morning on Fox News, hosts of the show Fox and Friends blamed the wildfires in California on a new culprit: al Qaeda. They pointed to a 2003 FBI memo, which raised the possibility that al Qaeda may try to set wildfires around the western United States. They also noted that men in a “hovering helicopter” saw “a guy starting one of these fires.”

Later in the segment, host Steve Doocy acknowledged that in memo, al Qaeda didn’t even mention California. “They mention Colorado, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming,” he added.

You need to understand that their audience can only comprehend 1/2 of a thought at a time. When the time is right they'll somehow "find" some "brown guy" who looked to be "Iranian" who "happened to be" in the area at the time the fires started.

i saw them once after having dental surgery and i was on some medication, around 6:00am i'm flipping round the dial when i land on that show and i thought "Hey, it's like the Larry Sanders show", well imagine my horror when i found out it was actually a morning show.

If fact, I bet this is how Rupert pitched the show at a director's meeting:

Let's give a weather reporter, a sportscaster and a female general interest/entertainment reporter 3 hours of air time. Despite the fact that we'll present these three reporters as serious newscasters we'll have the female anchor wear a top with a plunging neckline and a skirt so short that her legs need to be crazy-glued into a crossed position to avoid the risk of her flashing the viewers at home.

We'll have these three lightweights discuss serious political matters that are loaded with nuance and various levels of gray and have them turn them into a simple matter of black or white.

We'll prop up the three anchors with commentators and paid advisors that are so biased that even an amoeba would be insulted by our claim that the program is "fair and balanced".

In short, we'll create a show that's such a train wreck that only people with IQ's lower than a plate of jello would watch it without their heads exploding....

Bush will act coy and have someone else suggest the possibility that it was the evil Osama bin Laden behind it all and of course Pat Robertson will follow up with the dangers of Islam spreading to our shores to kill all of "God's chosen people" and all the Republicans will follow with their Islamofascistphobia and their "The Muslims are coming, the Muslims are coming" chanting and Bush will declare war on Iran to assure them that he is protecting the homeland and its Christian populace once more.

And Madame Speaker will smile and tell us once more that impeachment is off the table. Someone needs to roll her under the table and out the door.
