2. I wouldn't eat that shite if you paid me
That said, it's nice to see the massive payroll of the hugely favored Boston Red Sox paying some dividends for anyone who would eat that crap.

9. What sour grapes?
I'm just stating facts. You said in the OP that the Red Sox stolen base did it, not me. I know, of course, that it is a Taco Bell thing, but you said Red Sox. In terms of facts, the Red Sox have a $143 million payroll, had the best record in baseball all year, have the best pitcher in baseball, and arguably the best line-up. And they are massive favorites according to the Vegas oddsmakers. Are any of these NOT facts?

So, why can't I state them? Why is that sour grapes? They are facts. That you may not like those facts is not really my problem.

19. Speaking of payrolls
The third baseman and shortstop of the yankees match the Pgh. Pirates whole team payroll.

20. That's nice, but I'm not a Yankee fan
Although it is interesting that you are happy to criticize the Yankees payroll, but apparently seek to defend the Bosox massive payroll, second highest in the league. Curious, that.

12. so all it took was one stolen base.
This seems like an odd promotion. Normally something very specific has to happen for everyone to get something free. But all it takes is one stolen base by any player on either team at any time during the series. Has there ever been a World Series without a stolen base? Seems like Taco Bell was just looking for an excuse to have Free Taco Day.

Well, don't look a gift taco in the mouth, they say.

15. I don't know! lol! Ask them!
It's obviously a advertisement/promotion but what the hell? :)

One of our local furniture stores PROMISED that anyone who bought

furniture (1 item) would get it for free if the Red Sox win the World Series!!

They had to take out insurance on the deal because they were swamped with orders

and will be out of business if they do win!!

23. Fake Mexican food
prepared by real Central American immigrants
using South American beef.
It's brilliant PR. Think about it; 1 taco is not a meal.
They will make up the cost when customers buy a soda
and another taco or 2 (or 10) to make it a "real" meal.
The hours are limited..."early-bird" only.
If you don't get off work till 5 you're out of luck Chuck.
Also, imagine the lines....

Just Say No to Taco Hell!

24. What about sending the equal food of one free taco per American...
To a hungry country, where 1 taco WOULD BE A big deal?

The Sudan, Ethiopia...where ever.

Whatta think? Naw, that makes way too much sense for Taco Bell.

26. Don't you think it's pathetic of you to do unpaid work for the Taco Bell...
promotion department, as you are by reproducing here this highly annoying marketing campaign, for which FOX repeatedly interrupted the game?

At least the taco servers are making minimum wage. Show some pride.
