Horowitz: American Leftists Allied with Islamo-Fascism
A fund-raising plea issued via email by Newsmax.com on behalf of David Horowitz, the founder of FrontPageMag.com states that American leftists are allied with "Islamo-fascists."

Horowitz writes that for his ongoing "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week" he has "organized events on well over 100 campuses across the country."

He adds, "Our goal is to give our enemy the name it deserves- Islamo Fascism; to lay bare the unholy alliance between American leftists and our enemies in the war on terror; and to create a national movement that will call it what it is and stand up to it."

Horowitz also writes: "The opposition is building, both in its intensity and its potential for violence. (I have been forced to provide bodyguards for all our speakers and the campus police have been on high alert at every school where they have appeared). The entire political left, from the Revolutionary Communist Party to the Young Democrats, is up in arms against us. Campus Progress, a part of the George Soros-Hillary Clinton operation, has put up a 'kit' for attacking Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week. The violent extreme left is thus urged on with a wink and a nod by the 'moderate' left."

"They are joined by the whole array of Muslim groups: CAIR, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Muslim American Society, the Muslim Students Association and the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Council - groups who claim to oppose Muslim terrorism, but when the opportunity arises to join us in exposing it, find themselves on the side that defends jihad rather than on the side that defends Muslim women, homosexuals and "infidels" from the homicidal violence of Islamo fascists."

10. Wow! Does anyone take this crazy person seriously? I mean, dayum!!!!
Is he REALLY that paranoid, AS IN PARANOID SCHIZO, or intentionally aiming to scare people into believing that shit?

:wow:

That man must live AMONG some pretty EXTREME people to believe what he says. Is Horowitz an extremist?

I believe so,...whether it be in pursuit of political ideology or serious psycho delusions.

:wow:

13. He's a former stalinist
worked for Ramparts magazine, "toyed with" the Black Panther Party in its waning days, and was traumatized by an act of violence committed against a Panther cohort.

Rather than deal with this personal tragedy, he has decided to devote the rest of his life attacking anyone to the left of Pinochet.

Actually, he still is a stalinist - he just works for a different dictator now

17. Yes -
left or right, these neocon loons still use the same tactics of trying to instill a "permanent revolution" using war and propaganda and promotion of a de facto One Party state "by any means necessary".

They also use the Rovian trick of projecting their own weakness onto the opposition and attacking the opposition's strength.

22. Not to nit pick but "permanent revolution" is a Trotskiite doctrine.....

Stalin closed down the revolutionary project of
Communism with the inauguration of the USSR.

Revolution was replaced with orthodoxy which
dictated that the USSR represented the historical
conclusion of the revolutionary project within
Russia and the Soviet Republics.

Oddly Stalin viewed the success of 'international'
Communism as completed by the Union of the supposedly
independent Soviet republics.

Trotski saw this as a purely semantic device deigned
to thwart the efforts of Communist parties in France
and else ware by making them subservient to Stalinist
orthodoxy.

Trotski paid for his heresy with his life and post war
Stalinism became the model for all party organization
beyond the borders of the Soviet Union.

Viewed in this light Horowitz reveals his and the NeoCon's
origin and debt to Stalinism and one party dictatorship.

The NeoCons are not in fact interested in spreading democracy
abroad. In fact they are determined to eliminate it through
the Bush doctrine of preemption and regime change which means
installing anti democratic governments in other countries thus
making them subservient to 'Corporate/Theocratic' orthodoxy.

In order to accomplish this goal democracy must first be
destroyed at its source, in the US where modern democracy
was founded.

26. I think you are right in every way
I think the neocon ideology and tactics mirror the worst of the stalinist "left"

Makes me wonder who actually won the cold war.

20. So, still an extremist (even psychotic),...just grabbing on different coat tails.
Is that stuff about the Black Panther Party associations documented?

I thought the violence associated with the Black Panthers were mostly another psy-op attack.

25. In his case, it's Horowitz's own story
My recollection of the story was that this happened when the Panthers were on the wane, in the mid-1970s. He had a girlfriend that died a violent death, that he believes was conducted by the Panthers themselves.

My points being:
- The Panthers were likely a shell of themselves at that time, so a more violent criminal element could have thrived that would not have been tolerated in a more vital organization.
- Horowitz may have been mistaken or deliberately believed somthing untrue about the events. It could have been an ordinary violent crime, not the political repression he talks about
- A horrific personal experience is no excuse for a decades long vendetta against supposed political enemies who have absolutely no connection with the events

but when he couldn't get any of that "free love", he became quite bitter. For the next several decades.

It's unfortunate they are allowed to influence our people.

When it gets to the point that fiction-based opinion-generators can pass themselves off as offering "news", you know damn well something is very wrong with the laws in this country, which are supposed to be enacted to PROTECT people from all forms of oppression.

14. Horowitz is a life-long flaming political hack
First on the left, then on the right.

He would much rather babble and bang on his keyboard than do useful work, such as picking up litter along the side of the highway.

19. They can ALWAYS point to some emotionally charged outburst as proof.
They are bent upon "cherry-picking" among people to WIN OVER perceptions. It's pretty clear why they do it.
