Say what you will about Ted Turner...
But man, his restaurant is sure nice!

Apparently they are very eco-friendly:

I went there this last weekend. I've been there many times but the reason I bring this up is that I noticed my drinking straw was made of paper instead of plastic. They were just like the ones my Great Grandmother used to give me when I was at her place as a child! Only difference is, Ted's straws don't fall apart. That and the food is excellent (I had the bison!)

So I started talking to the manager and he gave me the whole story about the place and bought all of our group's cocktails.

A very cool place to go, I think!

3. I remember the story about those straws

he couldn't find a company that made them anymore so IIRC he had a closed "papaer straw-making plant" opened just to manufacture them for his restaurant.

I thought that was pretty cool.

And i might marry such an enlightened guy - and use my wiles to convince him to start another news network lol  (laughing at the part about my wiles...)

5. Love those paper straws.
I think we had them in kindergarden to drink our milk with!

The prices at Montana Grill aren't too bad, either.
