MSNBC is reaching a new high in lows with Elizabeth Kucinich interview
Edited on Tue Oct-30-07 02:56 PM by Atman
Dear god, this is awful. First of all, Mrs. Kucinich had to correct Nora the Destroya and point out that DK is in fourth place behind Clinton, Obama and Edwards (Nora had said he basically wasn't even in it). It went downhill from there.

"Dennis is considered a policy wonk, and you're very beautiful. How did you wind up together?" WTF? Why not ask "Did you bring your lunch or ride the bus?" What a stupid fucking question. Never mind the implication that being a policy wonk is a BAD thing -- we sure could use one now! -- but that a wonk can't have a beautiful wife? Nora is the worst. Besides all the rest of them.

2. Mrs. Kucinich did great!
Nora certainly didn't get anything on her. Don't think Nora knew what a smart Lady she was dealing with.

27. No, that is another Stepford Journalist, Campbell Brown
She's only marginally better than Nora. But not much.

4. Like you said, "Nora is the worst" stupid questions....
But it only made Noran look bad. Mrs. Kucinich came off quite polished and intelligent.

6. Not only that a wonk can't have a beautiful wife, but that wonk and beautiful are mutually exclusive
Elizabeth Kucinich herself is a policy wonk. She's got a master's degree in International Conflict Analysis, fer chrissake. Not to mention that she met Rep. Kucinich while working for the American Monetary Institute as, natch, a policy wonk on international monetary reform.

She not's simply attractive, she's got one of those faces you can lock a camera on. Jason Jones was genuinely smitten.

9. But...but...Nora claimed bragging rights to her "first cable tv interview."
What the hell is Jon Stewart? It sure looked like an interview to me!

Ms. Kucinich kicked Nora's ass and made her look like the vacuous tool that she is. "You'd be the first First Lady with a pierced tongue." Ms. K just looked at Nora and said "So?" Nora is an idiot.

I guess that would make Kucinich a 'FLILF hunter'.

34. She's not only a FLIF...
... she's got gravitas, too. She seems very sharp and seems like she could shut the assholes down with one raised eyebrow.

I know DK must have something special to attract such a woman. Only the perverts at DU will speculate.

Not to be snotty, but compare her to Pickles.... shiiiiiit!

8. What poll are you looking at?
On MTP Sunday, the poll Tim Russert showed Chris Dodd even had Steven Colbert ahead of DK.

21. This is what i got from Rasmussen's website. DK is polling tied for fith with 2 percent.
For the seven days ending October 28, 2007, Hillary Clinton earns 44% of the vote. Barack Obama is second at 20% followed by John Edwards at 14%. Bill Richardson attracts 4% while Dennis Kucinich is at 2% along with Joe Biden. Chris Dodd earns 1% and Mike Gravel is below that level while 12% of Likely Democratic Primary Voters are undecided (review history of weekly results).

22. Earlier in the month, Zogby had him in 4th ahead of Richardson.
From above cited story:

In a Zogby America poll earlier this month, Kucinich was fourth, six points behind Edwards, and ahead of Richardson and Sen. Joe Biden.

The OP's claim that he is in 4th is definitely more accurate that nora's claim that he is not in it.

We are at the end of the month now. I just saw an LA times/bloomberg poll that has him in sixth with 1 percent of the vote.

12. A GE poll isn't really that valid.
Timmy isn't exactly a bastion of truth, and there is no way that defense contractor GE is going to acknowledge ANY position for Kucinich. They're doing their best to pretend he doesn't exist. I'm surprised to see his wife on MSNBC...they must have calculated that her tongue piercing and age difference would freak out "normal" voters.
