It seems the Iraq occupation has all but vanished
I hear little on the news if anything all and little on the blogs that I go to which aren't that many .

Has the presidential hopefuls taken over the focus . I did not see a thing on the news about the last protests either . A few kind DU posters supplied all the photo's I've seen .

I think it's a big mistake to become distracted from Iraq .

What's the deal is Iran now the next front since this is all i hear about now .

This entire campaign deal is bad timing and way to soon as far as i'm concerned .

I am well aware that things are different , this is the first time a vice president has not run but now we have candidates coming out of the woodwork .

1. I read a few posts today trashing Biden because he wanted to focus on
foreign policy in tonight's debate - and I had the same feeling: Is the war in Iraq not important anymore?

And I have to say it again, but Biden's plan that passed needs to be implemented. We need to take ACTION to start to bring the troops home. We've done nothing, and as you say, people have become distracted.

Shameful.

3. I think because the daily violence
is not as daily as it was. The press love to report on bloody situations. Hell Spears is getting more coverage than Iraq.
