For your information, Comcast, the cable TV provider for many parts of the country, has made a unilateral decision to move the cable channel assignment for MSNBC into the channels above 100 -- in our Portland area, the channel was moved from 47 to 128! (CNN, Headline News, and Fox KEPT their basic cable positions close together in the 40s!) People will now have to sign up for extended cable service and pay MORE to see any MSNBC programs!

Looks as if this has been happening all around the country previous to now.

Comcast gave us the following information about writing to protest this:

Comcast Offices (representative would give me NO names, emails or departments!)
1500 Market Street
Philadelphia, PA 19102

6. I started a thread this AM reporting that...
Comcast had removed C-Span 2 and will let me have it again for a few dollars more a month. Supposedly C Span 2 went to digital. How can it go to digital here but not other locations? Comcast has a monopoly so they can do what they want. Thanks for the address.

8. They haven't done that here, but they DID move C-SPAN 2 to the upper tier when they added C-SPAN 3
to the line up. Why they moved Span 2 and not SPAN 1 is beyond me. That move ticked me off because the TeeVee in my shop doesn't have a cable box so I can only listen to/watch C-SPAN 1 when I'm in there.

You know they moved MSNBC to the more expensive tier because they're moving more to the LEFT...:( Can't have the sheeple hearing any TRUTH from KO, can we?
