Want to know if you are on the terror watch list? I just got this in an email:
"I asked my federal Congressman how to find out if I am
on the US Terrorist Watch List. Here is his reply:

'...a representative from the Transportation Security Commission
said that the actual list is protected under various national security
laws and therefore cannot be released to the public. There is a
process called the Department of Homeland Security Traveler
Redress Inquiry Program. This program allows a person to make
an inquiry as to if their name is on the list, and why their name is
on it. The program rescans your name and then, if you were
wrongly put on the list, they will remove your name from the list.
My contact said that if you would like to find out of your name is
on the list, you can go to this link and submit an inquiry.'

1. But if you inquire, you are clearly guilty of something, and are therefore put on the list.
D'oh!

4. INCONCEIVABLE.

Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

7. I read an article recently about how many names on that list are of dead people,
and even a few of the 9/11 terrorists. The rationale was that "others might be using their names" but it was clearly because the system is out of control. Over 700,000 names, I think.

Ted Kennedy was stopped twice because there was someone named T. Kennedy on the list. He flew this airline frequently, was known by all the employees, and was Ted Fucking Kennedy for god's sake! It still took him 3 weeks (or 3 months, can't remember) to get his name removed from the list.

If anyone is on it, they're screwn.
