There is still time to camp out at DiFi's and Schumer's offices...vote is TUESDAY.
They only announced they'd vote yes, but the vote isn't until Tuesday. I don't think this is the time to give up yet. We have to try to pressure them. To shame them, if they have any shame left. Remind them that they will forever be branded TORTURERS. We'll make sure of it. I will forever add the (D-Torturer) suffix any time I write either of their names. I'll print it on fucking bumper stickers. We can buy ads in their local newspapers. They have to be made aware that they are lowering themselves to the very doors of hell if they approve of torture, and decent Americans don't want to be brought there with them.

2. I tried to call both offices a little after 5:00....both rang busy
over and over and over. Do they take the phones off the hooks?

4. same here. I think theya re being called on this! I signed petitions today
from the ACLy, senator Kennedy and 2 other organizations gainst the Mukasey nomination. People are angry at this!

Any chance of turning Lindsey Graham? He was criticizing Mukasey's stance on torture on tv this week...

10. I know, but he might be an easier sway than feinstein. he already said publicly that he was not
satisfied with mukasey's answers,and he is listed as "undecided".

11. I've called Di Fi's
office in the past, regarding Alito and other things, and the staffer always asks for a zip code. For those of you outside of California, use mine: 94611. My zip code is the one to use because money talks; it is one of the top ten zip codes in the country for political contributions to DEMOCRATS. Not that Di Fi ACTS like a Democrat, mind you, but she does seem to respond to money.
