Do you admire Al Gore? Want to lend him a hand (quick & easy)?

Draftgore.com has an ad on youtube that is being attacked by...well...you know the clowns who attack Gore's message.

It only takes a second to give a thumbsdown on their idiotic statements, thumbsup supporters like us, or make a comment of your own.

This will probably be the quickest and easiest thing that you can do to help Al Gore.

He needs to reiterate--continually--that he's not running for office, to stop all these rumors about his candidacy. By playing games, he's just making things worse for the candidates who are running for the Presidency.

Gore wants to implement a GLOBAL CARBON TAX. Who will implement it? The U.N.

Fight Global Warming...Plant a tree, not a seed of Fabian Socialism.



When I posted this thread that comment had 3 thumbs up. Like I said, if you don't care then fine, but step aside for those who do.

It's repulsive to see what is being said over there about climate change in general, and how many thumbsdown there are to positive responses to the video. I tend to think that the oil industry professional trolls are earning their keep.

on what should be seen as very important issues for humanity world wide, though I would love to see him run, I am not so sure he could single handily stop the madness that has invaded our government, there are many good men and women ready and able to fight for the people, why can't we focus on those that state they wish to be a candidate and just support people like Gore who are doing what they can, there are many issues needing fires lit underneath them, one man nor woman is strong enough to do it all, can't we stand behind him and quit acting like bratty little kids throwing tantrums because of some strange reasonings that have left too many forgetting that there are many others working and what they need to win is simply us the people to stand behind them and quit whining about what is not being done and instead help get it done?

I've given some thumbs up and some thumbs down. There are some real idiots out there. Especially that moron who made the "Dumb and Dumber" comment.

It's even worse on the music videos. Homophobes, xenophobes, and racists are rampant. It really makes me appreciate Skinner and DU even more than I did before.

That's what was so weird about the comment section in this video. My experience has been on political threads on youtube that an occasional freeper may wonder in, but gets batted down and they don't usually make a stand. When I first saw the infestation of that thread and gave thumbs downs to idiotic remarks, just that quick someone had come along to undo what I had done. I really tend to think that this was targeted by professional trolls.

The Gore video did seem to be holding up last I checked on it. I think the reason it's drawing more attention than most political videos there is due to the RW (freeper) fear that he might actually run.

Any Grassroots candidate, such as Gore would be, scares them to death.

But it's amazing that when asked to defend his WORK amd movie, no one but ONE person from this site went there to do so. What a bunch of BS, sitting all day on You Tube fighting over something he isn't even involved with while his important work is completely ignored. I say, if you don't want him trashed respect his words and stop harrassing him. It does NOTHING to further what we should be doing to join with him and help him now and only hurts him. How many of you were actually out today taking part in Step It Up as his last e-mail asked to get people to help solve this climate crisis? Or isn't that important enough? You think he would be impressed by this? I don't. Give me something IMPORTANT to defend like the work he is doing, and I'm there. What a waste of time and money. Between that ad that looks like something Bush would put out, and that NY Times ad, over 115 THOUSAND dollars that could have gone to help his organizations, or plant trees, or feed hungry children in Darfur was WASTED on this politcal contest rhetoric.
