Do you think that any of the 7000 Iraq refugees will be...
placed in any red states or areas where republiCONS reside... They claim that they care so much for the health and well being of Iraqis, I would like to see how much...

3. 600 was a WH lie. Later admitted to 7,000.
That's the way I heard it.

11. 600 is the total number of Iraqi refugees admitted since the war began.
Edited on Thu Feb-15-07 05:10 PM by BurtWorm
Out of nearly 4,000,000 displaced by the consequences of US policy in Iraq. 7,000 out of 4 million is a drop in the bucket. It's nothing, considering how much this country has screwed with their lives, and how much, if this country had a conscience, we owe them for that.

20. So, the 7000 number came from Savage? Is that to be trusted?
I think that the 600 number is what I heard on The News Hour, but that was a couple of days ago and these things have a way of changing. When your information is coming from liars, it seldom stays the same over any period of time...

7. Glad you brought that up......
When this war started and I kept telling my family that it was illegal, immoral, and based on lies, etc., etc. One of them told me I was naive, liberal, tree-hugging and such I replied....just you wait till the refugees come over. Reply: No refugees will come here. Me: Oh, yes they will. We're destorying their country like Vietnam so they will be over and in your neck of the woods too.

"See, I told you so!" I was in the air force and they weren't so I think I know a little more how the miltary operates and knew that Rummy was over there shaking hands with his buddy who became the scapegoat for that day in September.
