Did Rudy just open up a whole new can of worms for himself?
He seems to be claiming that he used aggressive questioning techniques on mobsters. Any good defense attorney will be all over this.

Even crazy old John McCain says Rudy is full of shit.

McCain: Rudy's Torture Views Show He's Not Qualified To Lead Military
By Eric Kleefeld - November 5, 2007, 9:23AM

John McCain is throwing another rhetorical punch at Rudy Giuliani on the torture issue, this time over Rudy's comparison of "intensive questioning" to the tactics he used to go after the mafia.

“When someone says waterboarding is similar to harsh interrogation techniques used against the mafia in New York City, they do not have enough experience to lead our military,” McCain told a New Hampshire town hall last night.

Rudy told Bloomberg TV on Friday, "Intensive questioning works. If I didn't use intensive questioning, there would be a lot of Mafia guys running around New York right now, and crime would be a lot higher in New York than it is."

1. If all the "mafia guys" are locked up, then why are you still...
on the street, Rudy?

15. Yep....
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Sunday reiterated his support for Mukasey, even though he said Mukasey's answers about waterboarding haven't been totally clear.

"I wanted (Mukasey) to say that waterboarding was torture and illegal," McCain, a former prisoner of war, told reporters in Mason City, Iowa. "He said that he would get briefed on the procedures."

5. I think the candidate who will win on their side is Romney
People have seen the result of hiring a bully to be President

I think Romney is probably the smartest, craftiest and exudes confidence that he will fix things. Neither Gulliani or McCain do that.

Even the Republicans know we need to fix things.

Not that I'd vote for one.

11. The mafia has a prohibition on killing cops.
But, I think if Rudy did this, they'd grant a waiver.

16. Is it just me or does Rudy smack of desparation
He is desperate to be seen as the big tough guy. He is so overcompensating that its almost comical if it were not for the repercussions. I mean he comes off as a little balding dweeb. But his rhetoric is right up there with pro-wrestling shouting matches.
