Where's the 'Bush Fatigue'?
You don't need a long memory to recall the corpo-media droning on endlessly from, say, 1997 to 2000 about 'Clinton fatigue'. This was supposed to refer to the many Republican-manufactured scandals and sleaze that we, the people, were just so 'fatigued' over that we could barely reach for the remote.

Never mind the peace, prosperity and general good government that came from those years - we were 'fatigued'. In 2000, the media applied 'Clinton fatigue' to Gore's campaign, hopeful that we'd ditch Gore because we were sooooooooo fatigued by the good Clinton years.

Strange, I haven't heard the media even ONCE refer to 'Bush fatigue', even though we've had more than 10 combined years of Poppy and his nitwit son. We're in an endless war, the Bush/Cheney cabal lies to us as a matter of course, wages are stagnant, corruption and cronyism is in every crevice of our government, the Gulf Coast is still a mess and I, for one, am finally fatigued. Why has the media suddenly retired this term? Does it only apply to Democrats?

3. I've had Bush fatigue since November, 2000. Is there an ointment for it?
Oh yeah, Impeachment Gel. You can get it in Congress.

7. Right next to democratis FLIP-FLOPS and in front of republican "changes of heart"
or "seeing the light" or their "epiphany"..

The press uses THEIR flip-flops as a sign of "growth" and "social-consciousness", but when a democrat even appears to have a conflicting opinion on anything, no matter how far back, they are WAFFLERS or FLIP-FLOPPERS... complete with cartoon music and loud guffaws..cue tape.. "let's all watch that again". :grr:

8. they burnt their bridges
the pigmedia created bush, his power. No matter what really happened regards bush's record, the pigs presented it with a cherry on top -it helped also that they pandered to all the worst instincts in the american electorate to turn the people against themselves. The media were still a loose cannon, however, and bush inc WAS committing crimes all along, which must eventually become known. The bush gangsters expected an increase in media antipithy (if omly because there are lotsa liberals in the media) over time and knew that they had committed themselves when they stole 2k election, and were committed to totally changing the usa from liberal democracy to whatever they call it. If anyone knows how brutal americans can be when exploited or conned, the bush gopigs do! So 911 basically trapped the pigmedia on bush's side, lying their arses off for the gopigs, and buying time. 911 said that, if bush goes down, he takes 300 thousand(?) mediawhores with him. poor bsstards! lol.
The ironic thing is that the gopigs least worry is the democrats, who'll play along with biz as usual (the dems don't want dollar to collapse, or mayhem to happen)...the problem is, bush really is a goof, and he really gonna run this jalopy outta gas/over a cliff! the pigmedia is in an untenable position! Hence what we're seeing (notice tom ridge, sam donaldson, kookie roberts, ari fliesher, john asscroft, perle, wolfwitz, dan rawther, tom brokawcaw, alan greenspan and numberless others have left the stage just when 'interesting times' were roaring on?)

9. If the public was fatigued over the Republican manufactured scandals about Clinton
I'm still waiting for the first good juicy Bush scandal to capture the media's 24-hour news cycles and for the public to even be able to get fatigued over it. The Abramoff scandal barely involved a single press conference question about it put to Bush or his Snowman press secretary. The anticipated scandal over the Libby matter and Bush's promise to get rid of anyone involved has resulted in nary a peep out of our media. Only now are we starting to see some signs of investigations forthcoming about the war, the disappearance of billions of dollars, and why were are still there in Iraq. The Katrina investigation seems to have fizzled out before it started, thanks to Senator Lieberman. The 9/11 investigation was a travesty. Interesting questions surrounding the 2004 election in Ohio have resulted in no major national scandals in the public consciousness. No wonder the public isn't feeling fatigue over the continuing barrage of reported scandals. What scandals have been reported?

I agree with you in that the very existence of Bush and his administration is a scandal and that we are greatly fatigued by that scandal. However, I think the media doesn't talk about "Bush fatigue" because they never did their job in the first place of investigating these various schemes and scams perpetrated by the Bush Administration for them to even suggest that the public is starting to feel fatigue over them.
