He's replaying all the pile-on stuff too... it's not pretty.

For those who missed the video, here's the youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qggO5yY7RAo

5. John "I feel pretty oh so pretty" Edwards is playing waltz music to attack Clinton?
The GOP ad was oh! so "unfair" to poor little Johnny's sensibilities, but he sees it as Okey Dokey! to use the Republican tactic againgst Clinton.

:puke:

8. Republican tactic, my ass!
There is nothing wrong, nor exclusively Republican, to point out Hillary Clinton's waffling on the issues. It's legitimate, and she's fair game to be called on her bullshit.

Proof?

Edited on Mon Nov-05-07 05:59 PM by rateyes
...and, therefore can't make any claims as to what it is.

The Clinton double-speak ad is not a "Republican tactic." But, I won't blame you for trying to defend the indefensible waffling Clinton does by attacking the messenger.

And, on edit: Love the "Flight of the Bumblebee" music. Clinton "flies" just like a bumblebee...all over the place...never in a straight line.

20. The "I feel pretty, oh so pretty" ad that Edwardians attacked as hateful
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJpNSJSab04

Now, they swing and sway to waltz music in their own attack ad...

25. OK, now that I've seen it...
personally, I find it to be slightly amusing. It has nothing to do, however, with the real issues, and it wasn't paid for by another campaign.

Edwards paid for the Clinton double-talk ad, and it addresses real issues about which Clinton refuses to take a stand.

I don't find either ad to be out of line in a society which protects and values free-speech.

You are comparing apples and oranges, and sounding like sour grapes.

32. Wasting time addressing crap from minor candiates (Dodd, Edwards, et al) is a waste of time.
Their few usual fans would be defending them even if they were caught making passes in the boy's room.

30. I am trying to find logic in your exchange here...
I sense I am courting futility and that all you really want to do is bring up that "I feel pretty" video.

12. I LOVE that apologetic non-apology....
keep hitting her hard. The text of the "correction."

------------------------------

We did find one Yes or No question Senator Clinton has answered: Will you continue to take money from Washington lobbyists?

If you want a candidate who triangulates, calculates and double-talks, then John Edwards is not your candidate.

But if you want someone who will be honest with you all of the time—who knows where they stand, who will fight to end the corrupt system in Washington and bring about the big change we need—then John is your candidate.

If you're tired of the politics of parsing, please consider making a contribution today.

--------------------------------

Gotta love it.

to describe Clinton's double-talk. Ever see a bumble bee fly? Erratic. All over the place.

Perfect choice of music for the ad.
