1. Eaves, the MS Dem candidate for governor, isn't given much of a chance
And frankly, I can see why. I was disappointed when he became the nominee, wondering why we couldn't come up with anybody better.

He has run pandering ads of the worst kind, promising to restore prayer to the public schools and introduce mandatory Bible classes in the public schools.

2. Yuk. Sounds like a Bush Democrat
Most of the action is in Red states...but maybe the VA House will shift in our direction?

Here's to hoping...!

4. Light turnout expected in Virginia, hopefully that helps the Dems..
Democrats are more motivated than the repubs. Most of the repubs I spoke to planned to stay home, they're pretty disgusted..:bounce:

6. Turnout was light in Kentucky when I voted... no line at all
Which is worrisome. Still, Beshear (D) is leading Fletcher (R, incumbent) in the polls, and Fletcher has had a scandal-rocked term... so I'm hopeful that Kentucky turns blue again tonight!
