Republicans are not treated fairly by the liberal media
Edited on Thu Nov-08-07 10:50 PM by MN Against Bush
The media in this country have a liberal bias.

How do I know they have a liberal bias? Well Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Brit Hume, Joe Scarborough, Tucker Carlson, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Dr. Laura, John Gibson, Laura Ingraham, Hugh Hewitt, Pat Robertson, Melanie Morgan, Neil Cavuto, and Neil Boortz all told me so. And they are all part of the liberal media! If even these members of the liberal media admit the media has a liberal bias than it must have a liberal bias right?

We all know that Fox is fair and balanced though.

Fox always makes sure not to let their journalism treat one group of people differently than another. Well at least that is true when speaking of liberals and Al Qaeda. Both groups are always treated equally on Fox, neither one gets any favoritism. Sure Republicans may get treated as superior on Fox, but that is only to balancing out the bashing Republicans receive on other media networks. Like Clear Channel.

I mean just look at all the stories our media has covered with a liberal slant.

The liberal media may have told us that there were Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq that could result in a mushroom cloud in New York City, but they didn't warn us about them enough times.

The liberal media may have told us that we should put the election problems in Florida behind us and just accept that Bush is our dear leader, but they never told us we should put elections behind us completely and just accept King George for a life term. They won't even consider covering that side of the story until at least October 2008 when the terrorists threaten to strike I heard.

The liberal media may have told us that universal health care was failing in other countries, but they didn't emphasize enough about how the wonderful pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and HMOs would be so much better off if we would just let a few more people die from lack of health care. I mean come on these great corporations give them all kinds of money yet the pundits they fund are afraid to say the words directly, "screw the kids and sick people, there are some CEOs in the insurance industry who need to buy yet another yacht".

The liberal media may have told us that there was no scientific consensus on whether global warming has occured even when virtually all the scientists said there was a consensus, but despite their honorable ignorance of reality they still refused to come out and say, "we don't care what the scientists say, we are going to destroy the planet either way."

Yes, the media is too damn liberal. If only they could find a few people more conservative than Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter then we could have some real balance in the media.

6. Taken literally, you're quiet correct. They are not treated fairly at all.
In fact they are treated with such unfair deference and biased favoritism that
a Democrat can't get a break unless his name is Zell Miller.

10. Yep, real bi-partisanship, there
The nut case right can claim much in common with a full 50% of
the Independents in the U.S. Senate.

7. They're so liberal, their CEOs and reporters should be prosecuted for inciting the nation to war.
In the build-up to Iraq.
