Morning, Amerika, how does it feel to stand for torture?

Congratulations to all of us. We can now be so busy writing individual bills against 5 bazillion different kinds of torture acts, that we for sure won't have time in the remaining year to follow up on those nasty subpoenas, or worry our pretty little minds about our government listening to our conversations, or waste our resources trying to dredge up all those shelved bad news reports on our fearless torture loving leaders.

I for one am thrilled beyond belief.

I think I'll go shopping for Easter - it's in the stores already, right? I can put everything on that new credit card I got free in the mail - one of thousands of offers I get every day.

I am so proud of this country, and looking so forward to a dem president, I think I'll just forget about global warming and buy a Hummer on that new credit card - it's got a very high limit.

I can't wait to watch the torture of those dreaded detainees that we picked up off the street on TV. Gonna be a new reality show, don't you know. I hear someone high up in government really really likes to watch this. Maybe even more hangings before reruns hit next summer.

And if I get really excited, I can go watch em pick off the immigrants on the border with them pilotless robot aircraft we brought from I-raq.

I am so looking forward.

I'm just gonna sit here and wait, now, for that precious new dem president. My neighbors are all foreclosing, but I'm just gonna sit here and wait.
