You may say you're extending a courtesy, but those people will have to look like that because of Bush's mistakes. What would you do if you saw one of those guy in the pictures walking down the street? Would you demand they put a sack over their head. I hope you never go to a military hospital.

People here have loved ones in Iraq or have had loved ones hurt in Iraq or are simply very emotional people who may not want to have a meltdown at work or in front of others.

No one wants to hide anything. No one is saying "they are scary". You are taking his request in the wrong way.

and they still upset me, i know they are their, but i do not wish to be affected by the pictures all the time, i appreciate the graphic warnings because the images are not hideous, its the reaction(shame, rage, etc) they provoke in me.

They've been cleaned up. God forbid he see them the way the trauma surgeons who fought to keep them alive saw them right after it happened.

Has to have help to sit up. Look at the hand holding the strap around his torso, and both the boys look like they may have brain injuries. And there isn't an iota of remorse, sadness, regret or shame in Bush's face. He looks like he's at some cocktail party. It makes me think about how my face felt like it was frozen in shock when I saw the injuries of soldiers in the Great Lakes Naval Hospital during Vietnam. I could not have smiled with such nonchalant indifference! He is talking down to them and I'm sure he's telling them their sacrifice is for a just cause. My stomach is twisted in rage and revulsion towards this man using these boys as a photo op.

and will continue to go through the rest of their lives is indescribable.

My cousin suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 95% of his body a few years ago. In fact, the burn unit here in Indianapolis has never had a patient so badly burned who survived. The odds in his favor were "less than 5%".

Since then, he has lost a leg. He has trouble eating because of scars in his esophagus from breathing in hot smoke. Much of his body is grafted skin, so very thin. He fights infection constantly. His lungs are damaged.

He lost his job, his home, his wife...

These men suffer far more than their outward appearances indicates.

I just want to scream.

I'm putting together part of a presentation on the results of arms sales through the world for my political science class. I've been collecting graphic photos in my attempt to show the results of war for profit. These two will say more than I ever could if I were to stand up and speak to the class.

These should be on nightly news daily to wake up the fugging people. They should show before and after photos of these kids destroyed by Bushco.

W's body language in these images is revealing.

In the first photo, note the lack of eye contact with his victim.

In the second, his postured hand on the shoulder - with his body held well away - speaks volumes.

Praise the Lord for His Just War against the Infidels/Unbelievers. God bless our Great Leader.
