Lars and the Real Girl - a brilliant film

I don't if any of you have had a chance to see Lars and the Real Girl yet, you should, it is a truly beautiful movie.

The film has a crazy premise of a young man who orders an anatomically correct doll to be his girlfriend. Yet his relationship with her is purely a loving relationship, not sexual. What is really amazing is that the film demonstrates beautifully how compassion and underastanding on an individual and community level allows for real and true healing. The film funny is ultimately intensely funny in such a real way and incredibly moving. I recommend it to all who truly believe in love, compassion and empathy. If only all communities could be so understanding.

Ryan Gossling and the rest of the cast were wonderful. It was a real feel good movie. I may even see it again...thumbs up from me too!
