Insightful author interviews
Saturday 9 PM, Sunday 6 PM and 9 PM ET
In Heroic Conservatism, former Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson argues that the Republican party needs to redefine what it means to be a conservative. He says that without embracing an outlook that is bold and compassionate, Republicans will lose the American public's support in upcoming elections. Mr. Gerson discusses his book with Richard Viguerie, direct mail pioneer and one of the founders of the modern conservative movement. Mr. Viguerie is president of ConservativeHQ.com and the author of Conservatives Betrayed.

2. Studs Terkel and Paul Krugman, two guys who ain't afraid to speak truth to power.
BTW, I'm listening to Bill Maher while reading the schedule. I see Tweety's name and hear an unmistakable cackle. Simultaneously.

Yup, Tweety's on the Maher replay. No writers, no show.

12. One of the perks of being the current anti-christ
Even I have to take time off from fomenting evil and chaos in the world. Why else would I look for posts from someone named "Viva_La_Revolution"?

He did better than 8 of 10 interviewees do. The kid has a lot of talent.

This I know is not a popular position, lol, but performance is fascinating to me and he did really well.
