Oh Criminy!! What the hell is wrong with people? Are our egos so brittle, so monolithically...
intransigent; that we cannot just let it the fuck go? With The Goddess as my witness: this is not some noble ill-formed tenacity, this is far too akin to a junkyard dog with a greasy old red shop rag that just will...not...fucking...let go...let it go!!

Some things were simply not meant to be. Goddess grant me The Grace to understand, why some people are seen as so willing to electrocute others i.e. their neighbors; from within pompous, self righteous states of rigidity & condescension.

Kinda' like "stoning".

It's unfortunate and chases an aweful lot of good people away.

That's "politics", these days. I hate it as much as the next earnest person but it is the arena, as much as it sucks.

even though I don't know the inspiration for your remarks.

There are too many important things in this world to hold on to trivia or pet peeves, and poison everything in the vicinity. Things change and the world is not what we wish it was. But, if you look back far enough, you can see how people are gradually working things out.

It's really sickening to read so many posts with such rancor.

She's out of here for the rest of the year (except for movie reviews). This is my 150th post and I can see what she means. I'm not sure WHY I'm here.
