What IF Hillary gets the nomination and wins...
What if she continues the failed pro war policies of the Bush administration (so as not to appear to be a weak female)...

Will criticism of her administration be tolerated on DU? Will those who disagree with her neoliberal economic agenda be tombstoned after voicing those concerns and criticisms?

Just how much dissent will be tolerated here on Democratic Underground? Will those who do not support Hillary have to look for a new political home on the Internet?

DU wasn't around during the last Dem administration. If we win, WILL criticism and dissent be tolerated here?

Recommended.

2. She would continue the occupation of Iraq...
What might happen on DU is anyone's guess.

9. that is simply not true...her position is the same as Edwards / Obama...
the first thing she would do is bring the troops home. That is what she said. Her position on Iraq is the same as Edwards / Obama /Biden / Dodd.

18. Hillary will do what the People want, IF they make themselves known
on the individual issues, both in general and in the particulars.

3. I think you're being way premature worrying about this, when
there are so many actual pressing issues. First of all, why even think about this now? Secondly, it's absurd to suggest that criticism of dems isn't tolerated here. Just ridiculous. There are dozens of threads a day criticizing them.

Looks to me like you're more interested in stirring up trouble, than asking a legitimate questions.

And if needlessly worrying about being tombstoned from DU is even worth posting about, you've got odd priorities.

It's a faux issue.

5. I suppose the "usuals" will still post "bad tipper!", "she kills kittens!" and
equally bullshit claptrap like "she'll continue the failed pro war policies of the Bush administration (so as not to appear to be a weak female)".
There's no stopping bullshit. It just piles up until the whole barn stinks.

6. No doubt that the 10 or so rabid hillary supporters on DU will try....
I really don't think we'll have to worry about that though....
the 10 or so very vocal supporters against the entire du community is, I think, a snapshot of the nation... I don't know a single democrat personally who is voting for Clinton, nor do I know anyone, democrat or repbulican who has been polled. Frankly, most people I know are ticked off at the media for trying to ramrod the nomination.

We'll see what happens in the nationwide primaries, starting with Iowa... My bet is on another surprise similar to the 2004 election cycle where underdog Kerry got the nomination.

10. omg
I'm not a hillary supporter, but I'm not under any illusion that just because I don't support her and people I know don't support her, she doesn't have widespread support. Talk about fooling yourself. wow.

7. False Dichotomies?
Anyone out there concretely with the People knows there are possibilities too numerous to calculate, especially this far ahead of the vote.

The system being what it is, the single most critical factor is going to come down to who and what we are to one another, face to face.

12. Well, it will end eventually no matter who is President.
The question is when and how many more of our brave soldiers will have to die or be injured before this happens.

14. She'd be savaged on DU for her stupid policies
should she continue to pursue them. Given her voting record, there will also be opportunity for praise along with the criticism, but don't expect any of us to roll over and accept stupidity.

We're Democrats. Leading us is like herding cats.

You want lockstep, join the GOP.

Tombstoning people who criticize bad policies of Democrats will make this a very lonely place and hardly the Underground.

16. If she wins and commits crimes like Bushco
I'll call for her impeachment just as loudly on here as I would Bush/Cheney. If that gets me tombstoned so be it but I think it would be a mistake. There's still two houses of congressional democrats I could be supporting.
