when all these towns insist on having santa parades and tree lighting ceremonies?

4. Seriously, I just feel numb about Christmas this year.
And a little indifferent. The red and green ads are in the paper - ho hum.
A pawn shop down the street has its Xmas lights up already. The TV bimbos are spewing their "buy now buy now" talking points. I have slashed my gift-buying budget this year by half.
I am a christian and will be going to church on Dec. 24th. The rest of the corporate-induced shit can just take a back seat.
