2. Two Sides of the Same Coin

To me he and the govenator would be almost identical presidents. I'll leave both them at their current activities, no higher aspirations either of them please.

8. The Light is Hardly Blinding
I see some daylight, but not enough to make Gore interesting to me in any way.

5. Yeah, right. Like Gore and Bush would have been the same --
Tweedledee and Tweedledum, according to Nader.

:sarcasm:

7. Bush and Arnold Equal? In What Alternate Reality
No way, Bush is much farther right than Arnold. Arnold and Gore are both middle of the road politicians, who really aren't much of a threat to the established order.

11. And that is exactly how Bush presented himself, and how Nader portrayed him.
Bush was supposed to be the "compassionate conservative." Remember?

Like Bush, Arnold is a monumental narcissist. We don't need another one.

12. Republicrats, Both of them
Edited on Sat Nov-10-07 07:58 PM by Rabo Karabekian
I must agree Bush lied when he campaigned, but I read Fortunate Son. Bush was not a moderate governor. Bush passed a law that Texas citizens could openly carry firearms in public. I don't think the NRA even likes Arnold (I could be mistaken on that). Arnold would be a Democrat in many states in the union, the type Al Gore was/is very moderate pro-business Republicrat (like Jim Webb who was a Republican).

14. Gore is neither a Nixon man, or a McCain supporter. Arnold is both.

He's a Nixon man who has called Democrats "losers" and "girlie men." You are grossly insulting Al Gore when you compare him to this narcissistic creep.

From Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwarzenneger

I finally arrived here in 1968. What a special day it was. I remember I arrived here with empty pockets but full of dreams, full of determination, full of desire. The presidential campaign was in full swing. I remember watching the Nixon-Humphrey presidential race on TV. A friend of mine who spoke German and English translated for me. I heard Humphrey saying things that sounded like socialism, which I had just left.

But then I heard Nixon speak. He was talking about free enterprise, getting the government off your back, lowering the taxes and strengthening the military. Listening to Nixon speak sounded more like a breath of fresh air. I said to my friend, I said, "What party is he?" My friend said, "He's a Republican." I said, "Then I am a Republican." And I have been a Republican ever since.
