2. Umm... according to Reich-wing radio, we STILL care more
Edited on Fri Feb-16-07 12:04 PM by Clark2008
about hating Bush and fighting him than we care about fighting "Islamo-facism," whatever the hell that's supposed to mean (I know what they mean by it, but it's still an oxymoron).

8. Democrats support the troops

Republicans support only what the troops can do for them.

(I wish Dems would get off the defensive)

4. I don't know.
Who are these people, 'cause the Repukes that I know still back Bush, at least on the war, although they are pretty down on him about immigration.

I think we won over a lot of the independents last time out, but I doubt we have even scratched the surface of the core Republican voters.

10. Oh, a few
Here's the line I hear, which makes me just want to pull my hair out - "We've done all we can do there." Aaaaargggh!!! Yeah, I know it's better than having them continue supporting the war, but good god it's horrifying when you hear it out of their mouths. We've done all we can do???? Uh, yeah, killed tens of thousands of Iraqis, destroyed a country, lost Afghanistan and Bin Laden, put the entire ME at risk, lost international credibility, destroyed our military... yeah, I'd say "we've" done all we can do. :eyes:

11. They are becoming afraid now that...
they realize bush has gotten us in a situation that has no good choices because the REPUBLICONS, refused to listen to reason " Stay the course" and have continued would like to continue on because they don't want the dems to be right,. I heard one of the senators say this on the floor today.

This new plan is nothing new I remember for the past few years when dems would say we don't have enough troops and Rumsfeld would come out and make a speech and add a few thousand then in a few months, he would make another speech and say they have captured insurgents and then withdraw others. They continued playing this game for the past four years moving the soldiers in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq and other places like they were some toy soldiers that they could play with...
