There was an exchange (I don't quite remember the words) where towards the end of it Whoopi said something to the effect of our dwindling freedoms. Laura Ingram gave Whoopi a look like hellfire was about to fall on Whoopi while saying, "What, you don't think we have freedom in this country?" to which Whoopi said, "No. Not as much as when I was growing up," to which Laura Ingram looked like she could not believe Whoopi, or her ears, or as you well put it, she looked like she had stick up her butt.

Of course Laura Ingram is feeling the freedom, as she is able to say whatever crap, lie, manipulation, or propaganda she wants to say without it being challenged. Things that in a real fair and balanced time she would have had challenged by a fair and balanced point of view. And, of course ... there is no freedom for truth and truth telling in America. I am sure Whoopi would have had a lot more to say, except that she is mindful and respectful of Baba Waba.

I would just like to ask DOLORES VAN CARTIER ... truth teller that she is, how does it feel to be silence by political correctness, television protocol, network allegiance to the bushes ... whatever...

I am sure they are killing her softly with their silencing rules.

And unfortunately her time slot is exactly when I go to work, and I can't find a liberal news channel in Louisville with news on it. Sometimes she says something I agree with and then she immediately says something else that abhors me, the counterbalance not only completely unjustifies the first thing she said but it also makes me envision her as some kind of angry horse faced lady with angel wings made of her Power to the People book that are on fire, throwing lightning down on those who dare differ from her or happen to be 'libural'.

Her talk show is complete trash too. Those few insightful snippits in it are drowned out by repeated sound clips and her studio cohorts and herself coming up with witty remarks about how stupid everyone else is.

Anyone have an alternative they can suggest? Especially around the 10:30 to 11:30 EST mark?

Funny, eh? Everyone of "them" seems to be on exactly the same page! Where do they get their information, do you ever wonder? Seriously, think about it...these pundits have the exact same info as the major "news" outlets, and it all comes out at the exact same time. How can that be? Obviously, it is being fed to the, and their appearances on shows like The View are timed to coincide with the Press Releases.
