NBC Evening News' "Happy Story" made me incredibly sad.
It showed an Army Reservist returning home for 2 weeks and surprising his 8 year-old at school.The little boy began crying and said"I thought you'd never come home".It concluded by saying the Lt.is going back for 5 more months.Damn you,everyone who still supports this war.

2. When my dad was in Viet Nam he got to come home for two weeks in
the summer (we all went on a camping trip). The hardest part was when he left again. But surprisingly, the part that stressed me the most was when he was about two weeks from returning for good - I got really scared that something bad would happen at the last minute and he'd never come home. I was 12. It was AWFUL.
