Why doesn't David Schuster have a show of his own?
Edited on Wed Nov-14-07 08:09 PM by Ecumenist
Why can't MSNBC see that they have A #1 bonified, guaranteed-to-please progressive star right under their noses?

Why Lawd, why??

Tucker is such an ass.

3. He subs for Tucker a lot.....could be a try out...
or is Tuck's slot going to Rosie? I know Tucker's negotiating/going to a reality game show, so it's just a matter of time....wish I remember where I read that.

6. I wrote MSNBC
a nice polite e-mail and asked them to show Tucker the door and give his slot to David Shuster.
They haven't written back...........not even a canned response. :-(

9. Thanks!
For me, it's DU in the morning and DU right before the lights go out.
This is MY place for news and current events.
I don't post much but I try to log-in every single day.
I never would have made it through the 2004 election theft without DU as support.
Sometimes I had to literally read through the tears as Ohio was stolen and my champagne sat unopened in melting ice.
I love this place.
Thanks for the welcome! :hi:
Speaking of Shuster, he also was on the Ed Shultz radio show today and ya know what? I don't think he's going to let the Regan sordid story die if it's up to him. :-)

14. Amen, Pearlie. I cried like a baby as I watched the travesty that was the
Ohio theft of yet another chunk of our democracy. I cannot believe thow far down we've rocketted down the pike in the last 7 years. I, for one, am determined to do everything that is legal to stop the complete theft of my country.. I look forward to chatting "withya" and getting to know you. You are like a breath of fresh air.

10. I write to MSNBC all the time and they never respond,
Still, I like to believe they are listening. Since they are the only network with any progressive or liberal or even centrist people on the air, I stick with them. Plus, I love KO. His show is the most informative around.

I agree David Shuster would make a good host, but he's also a really good reporter. If they do give him his own show, I hope they have a really good reporter to replace him.

I'd love it if he replaced Tucker. Or if anyone replaced Tucker. Heck, I'd rather watch Pat Buchanan than Tucker. Tucker is disgusting and sleazy. I often wonder if Bill Geist (the entertaining and seemingly nice guy on CBS Sunday Morning) is ashamed of his son Willie. Willie seems just as enthusiastically disgusting as Tucker.

I really like Dan Abrams. I hope he stays on unless he leaves to take over the GM slot again. If that's the case, bring on Shuster.

In case anyone doesn't know it yet (comment farther up sounds like some may not know), Rosie is not coming to MSNBC. From what I've read, the negotiations didn't get very far along before she started blabbing about it all over. That made MSNBC decide against her. No Rosie. No loss.

13. The Rosie negotiations did not die because she blabbed
no matter what she says.

They died because she wanted too much money.
