to have no water - I can't even IMAGINE it, can you?

37. Just two that know of :) - Since we moved her in 2001-ish.
We borrowed a relatives business truck a couple years back (that had a Bush Cheney sticker still on it) to pick up some furniture in Knoxville. I was horrified someone would think it belonged to us. :)

I don't see much Republican pom-pom shaking these days. Things are strangely quiet on the political front 'round here.

12. God answers prayers if they are unselfesh ones.
I bet that at least 100 Million Americans believe that.

God controls the weather & everything else on the little planet.

16. how much rain are they getting?
from what i understand, it would take quite a few rainy days to fill the reservoirs.

if this doesn't end the drought, but makes people feel like it does- it may make things even worse.

compared with what we need to fill up Lake Lanier.

It's barely dripping here in Decatur.

Jesus hates Republicans in Georgia.

34. Atlanta (FTY) got 0.15-in of rain last night. Not exactly a deluge of Biblical proportions.
But every little bit helps. It was good to see a front finally push through these blocking highs we have had for months. Here in Greenville, SC, we got 0.17-in. My dad, 40 miles south of ATL, recorded 0.25-in.
