Why we're in so much trouble; behold the crazed mind of the selfish sub-freeper
Re: the guy in Cobb County, GA using enough water for a 60-home subdivision. This is an actual quote, in it's entirety, from The Board That Shall Not Be Mentioned. Their collective IQ is lower than the water level of Lake Lanier!

If they don't like how much water he uses they shouldn't have piped it to his house and started charging him for it. Our water co-op piped it to my house. It runs through a meter at the property line. I pay for what comes on my side of the meter. Since I'm being charged and paying my bill, it really isn't anyone's damn business how much I use.

To be fair, this post is coming from probably the most ignorant poster among their 33-member lot -- and that's really saying something. One of his other gems from the other day was about how there is no way Bush or Cheney could be impeached, because if Bill & Hillary Clinton are still walking free after their massive crime spree, there couldn't possibly be anything on Bush & Cheney.

They don't get much dumber than this dude.

6. hahahahaha. Great idea. Was just havung a discussion about "Neighborhood Associations" this
morning. They appear in some cases to be gathering places for the ignorant, the petty and the small-penised who wish to exert power over others.

2. Some funny posts over there

I am unaware of any physical law of nature that guarantees rainfall when sufficient taxes are collected. Once more, with emphasis: THE WATER IS RUNNING OUT. Rainfall is not infrastructure.

I sense frustration. Why bother arguing with you know who? It's like talking to man tripping balls-to-the-wall on acid. It just wont make sense, reason and logic wont work, and you'll leave feeling frustrated.

5. That's pretty much the alpha and omega of right-libertarian thinking.
"I've got mine, fuck the rest of you."

7. You misrepresent libertarian thinking...
It is more accurately summarized as: "It's wrong to force people to do things". I doubt that the selfish Freeptard quoted has any understanding of libertarianism, either.

11. That hasn't been my experience...
but I'm sure all kinds of people call themselves "libertarian". It's kind of like how some right-wing Christofascists call themselves "conservative".

12. Most right-libertarian "thinking" is self-refuting nonsense.
They yap about liberty but the right-wing economic crap they support leads to corporate serfdom, in which only the elites are free and the rest are their slaves. too much economic "freedom" leads to the loss of freedom to most people. I'm not a Marxist (though I used to be one) and disagree with a lot of Marx's ideas, but he did get right the idea that mere political freedom is meaningless when laissez-faire economic policies leads to the majority of people being the slaves of capital.
