1. The storm rained itself out over Tennessee
while only 0.18 inch of it fell on Atlanta.

Oh well.

26. Well then Georgia needs a governor...
who knows how to properly word a prayer. That should be reason enough to toss Sonny out of office. He can't even get a rain prayer right.

A. It's never been accurate, at least not with my local forecasts and
B. Some bigwig over there thinks global warming is a farce.

Tell me you don't trust them, please.

2. Good timing -- They probably consulted the Weather Service to pick a day.
Barometric pressure starts dropping -- "Hey! Let's have a prayer service to call upon our Invisible Friend and curry favor with the Highly Irrational."

10. I agree.
I bet they consulted the National Weather Service before they had their prayer vigil the other day. As if no one saw the cold front coming across the country two days ahead of time...

3. *snicker*
I happen to know that a group of Wiccans did a rain spell on Tuesday. How do these Christians know it wasn't THEIR actions that precipitated the precipitation?

Okay, I don't really know any such thing. But... It COULD be true.

Hell even if this was officially sanctioned but optional, this is unconstitutional as hell. Everyone in the workplace knows that something "optional" never truly is.

17. I just LOVE the ARROGANCE of most Religion Advocates.
That the idea that the OMNIPOTENT CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE is taking a personal interest in whether or not it rains in Georgia considering the unimaginable number of stars in the untold billions of galaxies that have planets just like this one in some stage of development takes the definition of the word HUBRIS to several new higher quantum levels.

When people try and run ideas like this by me, I usually (in my own head) question their sanity.

30. GOD, if there is one does not look out for the USA
if God is protecting the USA he is doing a darn poor job. He let bush and cheney steal office two times.

And he continues to let him stay there. IF HE is protecting us he would find a way to get rid of both of them. Til he is gone and causing no more problems....I won't accept God in any form.
