"I don‘t know what genius political consultant has advised the Democratic leadership..."

"...that it‘s a bad idea to spend hours of prime time on the floor of Congress reminding the country that Mr. Eleven-percent approval rating is a bad guy of whom they disprove and whom they would like to see held accountable. It‘s supposed to be Politics 101 that you associate yourself with good things and that you are seen to frequently and rabidly denounce bad things." -- Rachel Maddow on Countdown November 6, 2007

4. did you see her on Tweety last night talking about immigration? Matthews reaction
was bizarre -- he tore into her for laughing while she tried to explain the Repub position on the drivers' license thing. he'd direct a question at her and Buchanan would shout over her answer and Matthews totally allowed it. it was awful. maddow, however, f'n rocks.

7. No, I can't bear to watch Tweety
But she does, indeed, f'n rock. And I'm one degree away from her. :D (Or is it two? Anyway, I know her brother, whatever degree that is. Heh.)

10. OMG -- that's one degree! how cool. everything stops in our house when she's on Olbie's show...
she's our favorite part. i never watch Tweety either, but turned it on early so as not to miss KO. Tweety just seems DUMB, lately. Slow, dumb and frustrated.

i used to LOVE her Unfiltered show on Sirius Air America -- with Liz Winstead and Chuck D. Whatever happened to Liz, anyway? She was a creator of the Daily Show.

16. Her brother is a cool guy, too
Their parents did good. ;)

I had no idea they were related, thinking it was just a common name, until one day I mentioned I was listening to AAR, and he said, "Oh, my sister's got a show on there." And I was like, "What?? Your sister is Rachel Maddow??"

I love second-hand claims to fame. :D

3. The same 'genius' who advised Dems to support Bush on his terrorism and Iraq war
decisions from 2001-2006.

That Dem 'genius' was also a key advisor to Tony Blair, too.

11. Close - same team, more famous name. Media convinced GOPs that Rove is their
genius and the Bush 'machine' is the only way to win.

Well - who has the media convinced Democratic lawmakers and voters is the 'genius' political mind for our party?

18. Nah - he's a henchman. Clinton is who they all hold up as the political 'genius' of our
party. IMO, he made the worst mistake of any Democrat the last twenty years - he let Poppy Bush and his cronies off the hook when he deep-sixed all the outstanding matters of IranContra, Iraqgate, BCCI and CIA drugrunning when he took office and throughout the 90s.
