Poll question: Should Dem controlled Congress keep in session until we are out of Iraq?
You know how the GOP hate the five day work weeks that Democrats initiated when they took over control. Do you think that Dems should keep congress in continuous session until we devise a way out of Iraq.

I'm sure a few dems will scream about that too, but why not? Dems were elected in '08 primarily to get us out of Iraq and by golly we should be working day and night on it.

1. Longer
I don't see where they've kept their promise on the workweek count anyway. They can all keep their asses at work all year long the same way I have to. If you want a vacation, make a request and if you have kept up with your workload (Not bloody likely) you can take one!

They have a lot more than Iraq to fix.

3. Might work if you word it differently
Congress will stay in session until our troops come home. Since our troops don't get a day off and are deployed for 15 months at a time, the congress will do the same.

4. They should stay in session until he has been impeached, and then they can worry about the war
Because, believe me, that war will not end so long as he is President.

6. Another thread was talking about recess apointments coming
up from the Prez and I was thinking the same thing, no recess until a new Pres. It would send a strong message, and they shouldn't let their guard down by going on vacation.
