This Used Car Was Driven by a Little Old Lady, Only to Church, and Has All Its Maintenance Records

Customer: Wow. That's awesome. But can I see the maintenance records?

Used Car Salesman: Sure! Let me go ask my manager, Mr. Mark Penn, if he can pull that data from the file. I know he gave all us sales floor staff a memo earlier this week that said we have the records. I'll be right back.

(Customer finishes coffee, gets a refill. Customer glances at watch. Customer hears the sound of tires squealing out back.)

MSM reports (without questioning the datasets) that Mark Penn sees 360 Electoral Votes in the bag.

It's almost enough to make me wanna move to Iowa in the winter.

1. Just proves the old adage that if you slime as well as the opponent you detest, you turn
into THAT person yourself.

We've loathed the Republican Party's tactics of "whisper champaign's" and "smear tactics" yet far too many of our leaders are morphing right wing REPUBLICAN ... damn!!! :wow: :(

2. What I Find Especially Despicable...
Edited on Sat Nov-17-07 07:08 PM by CorpGovActivist
... is that many "sales floor staff" in that example (i.e., true believing campaign staffers) are putting *their* credibility on the line to repeat what Mr. Penn wrote.

3. Sadly, after being on this earth for nearly 50 years, I can state with certainty
that GREED and INDIFFERENCE are the greatest evils in this world. Far too many idealists WANT to believe that their candidates are "true blue" but I fear that most politicians are cut from the same smarmy cloth.

I know with regret that we do not have the wisdom, as a nation, to elect Dennis Kucinich. He's just too GENUINE to be elected "a Senator" much less Our President.

4. Kucinich and Presidential Portraits...
He might do better if he included a few Presidential mug shots in his campaign backdrops and other materials: http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/odmdhtml/preshome.html

http://www.historyplace.com/specials/portraits/presidents/index.html

He has a face that cries out for a daguerreotype:

6. At Least Your Car Had a Real Engine...
... which is more than Mark Penn can say for his datasets.

7. Mark Penn Gets Paid Regardless, Though...
... right? There's no Sarbanes-Oxley for pollsters, so his numbers are unaudited.
